STORY TELLING

I love telling stories and visually communicating a narrative to an audience. I am passionate about children's illustration; there is something special about sparking the imagination of young people and helping them to learn and develop their understanding of the world. Here's a few story telling projects I've worked on.

Howl's Moving Castle

‘But she was sidetracked a little by imagining a face in the flames.’

These are some of my illustrations for Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. My designs were shortlisted for the Folio Society Book Illustration Competition. I really liked creating these fantastical, three colour screen prints for a truly magical and adventurous story.

Parables

My faith is something that drives my illustration and I absolutely loved exploring these parables of Jesus. Here are a few spreads from a current picture book project. The illustrations are from 'The Parable of the Sower', 'The Parable of the Lost Sheep' and 'The Parable of the Mustard seed'. I am so excited to develop this project, so keep your eyes peeled...
