Santorini Wedding Dreams.
A dreamy wedding set in the beautiful city of Santorini. I loved creating some bespoke stationery for this abroad summer wedding. Sophisticated whites and blues with a dash of silver. Here's a look at some of the designs for Ebbie and Jacobs wedding...
Invitations
Santorini is famous for its white architecture and blue topped buildings surround by its ocean views. It would have been rude not to include a location illustration on Ebbie and Jacobs invitations. Combined with blue type, floral embellishments and silver hand lettering to give the design an extra sparkle, these invites were perfect to send to their guests. Elegant vellum wraps sealed with personalised (E&J) wax melts, enclosed the A5 invite, all placed in a printed addressed envelope with a matching floral design. These added extras really helped finish of the elegant look of the invites. I have lots of little additions you can add to your paper invitation designs - vellum wraps, wax melts, printed/coloured/addressed envelopes, belly bands, ribbon, dried flowers....just to name a few. Or if you have your own imaginative idea, I'd love to hear it!
Table Decor
Striking white, was their wedding table decor theme! Sometimes less is more and that was certainly the case with some of Ebbie and Jacobs table decor. The half arch table names with pale blue personalised wax seals, look great alongside their floral centre pieces. I was a big fan of the combined name places and menus as well. Sliver card which reflected the sun light beautifully, paired with vellum paper, white lettering and the wax melts, made great little name places. They were attached to delicious looking menu design which incorporated the illustration from the invitations. A lovely way to inform your guest of what's on the menu!
Seating Plan
Mirror seating plans! I love them. Particularly if you have an outdoor wedding or an inside venue with lots of fancy lighting and decor, the refections look gorgeous! Just look at the summer blue sky and palm trees reflected in Ebbie and Jacobs mirror plan. White lettering for their names and welcome message. The white paper lists attached to the mirror with their personalised wax melts, were an easy way for guests to find the table they were seated at. Mirrors work so well for other signage too, such as welcome signs or order of the day graphics. Ebbie and Jacobs venue supplied this beautiful framed mirror for their seating plan. So if you're planning your own wedding ask your venue what they might have available for you to use to put up in and around the venue. I can also source mirrors/signage boards/easels etc or if you have your own canvases to use, great, I can design straight on to them too!
Drinks Sign
Finally a bespoke drinks sign. Signature cocktails served to their wedding guests. One chosen by the bride, one by the groom, one chosen together and a super cute mocktail named after their dog! I love the personal touch to this sign and the little illustrations of the cocktails really bring it to life. The dome shape of the board fitted in nicely with their theme and the surrounding architecture, placed on a mini white easel so it could be stood on the bar counter. A great idea for some bespoke signage.
